　美術史やポップカルチャーなど様々な事象をつなぎ、多様な素材を組み合わせた立体作品を発表するアーティスト、レイチェル・ハリソンの日本初個展が開催される。

　ハリソンは1966年生まれ、ニューヨークを拠点に活動。近年は建物に使用できない捻れた木材を自身の立体作品の礎とし、彩りをまとわせた上で、それらをセメントでコーティングすることで直立させる作品を制作している。

　本展では、7点の立体作品からなるシリーズ「Stud」を、アテネやデロス島などの博物館にて古代彫刻を撮影した新作の写真作品とともに展示。かたちが崩れたものと没落した文明が協働するハリソンの作品は、断片化した身体や切断された器官を想起させる。
