　オードリー・ヘプバーン出演作のほか、『地上より永遠に』『スタア誕生』『ヴァージニア・ウルフなんかこわくない』『卒業』など30年余りの間に120本ほどの映画でスチル写真を撮影したボブ・ウィロビー。『ライフ』『ヴォーグ』など世界的な雑誌にも写真を提供した。

　1927年アメリカ・ロサンゼルスに生まれたウィロビーは、12歳のときに父からもらったカメラで写真を撮り始め、高校卒業後はハリウッドのカメラマンたちの助手として修業。その傍らでジャズを対象に写真修業も行った。南カリフォルニア大学の夜間部で写真を、専門学校でデザインを学ぶ。やがて演劇や文化イベントを手がけるようになり、雑誌のために映画関連の撮影に従事した。

　主な写真集に、『プラチナの時代』『ロサンゼルスのジャズ』『ハリウッド・スペシャル』などがある。2009年12月フランス・ヴァンスにて、82歳で永逝。

　本展では、オードリー・ヘップバーンとマリリン・モンローを撮影した作品約15点を展示する。
