　ペロタン東京は、ガヒ・パクによる個展「EVENINGNESS」を開催。一連のペインティングとドローイングを日本初公開する。

　パクは韓国出身。現在は、カナダのモントリオールを拠点に活動中だ。その作品は、生まれ育ったソウルや、米国で生活を始めた当初の観察からインスピレーションを得ている。パクのペインティングは個人的かつ幻想的であり、日常にあるものや行為を挑発的に描いた場面を通して、家庭内における親密性や欲望を探究している。

　本展「Eveningness」は、パクにとってペロタンでは4回目となる個展。本展覧会に寄稿したジョアンナ・ロボサム（タンパ美術館近代・現代美術部門キュレーター）によれば、「本展『Eveningness』に展示される作品の多くは、時間の経過について探究しており、パクは季節と光の変化を利用しながら、過去・現在における特定の瞬間に言及している」という。
